The Zambian crowd was on it's feet as Aggression started in the outdoor Sunset Stadium. It was daylight in Africa as to accomodate for the time difference in the US, but Aggression was live as usual all across the world. "You Think You Know Me!" blared from the PA system as Metalingus began to play and Edge came down the ramp to an ethusiastic crowd. He looked annoyed that they would dare to cheer him and he proceeded to the ring. He took a microphone, and began to speak.
Edge: I'm just going to pretend you idiots speak English for a minute and say what needs to be said.
The English speakers in the crowd welcomed him with boos and he gave a slight grin as if to say that response was a little better.
Edge: The state of wrestling, oh what a sad state it's in. You have a few old timers like DX and VKM running around here with their stale ideas, and all the new guys trying to be tough. Shane Helms and Chris Jericho off whining somewhere... and much like the Women's Champion, Melina I can't find anyone who is even close to my league to defend the intercontinental title against. So I have no choice. I've been left no other choice than to issue an open challenge, right here, right now. If there's a boy in the back who feels they're in my league, who feels they can beat me for this... then come out here right now and you'll get your shot, this year, at the EBWF Royal Rumble...
A familiar guitar cord filled the arena and the fans went wild before "Time to Play the Game" even hit their ears. The music gave way to the usual guitar rif, but the light show was skipped on account of the outdoor atmosphere. Stepping into plain view Triple H stood on the stage, microphone in hand, Chyna at his side. He was wearing a black Triple H Logo T-Shirt. Chyna's dress was an untypical red, but her black boots were still knee high. They didn't advance to the ring, but relished in the look on Edge's face.
Triple H: All right, all right, calm down... I don't want to challenge you. That look was pretty classic though...
Edge: Hunter! What in the hell are you doing out here? Who in the hell do you think you are...
Hunter raised an eyebrow in Chyna's direction and she plainly shrugged.
Triple H: He's joking right?
Edge: What in the hell do you want?!
Triple H: You asked for a challenger, and I'm here to give you one.
Edge: You just said you didn't want to challenge me.
Triple H: I don't. She does.
He pointed to Chyna, and she gave him a startled and surprised look.
Chyna: What?! I... I don't want to face Edge for the Intercontinental Title.
Edge: Of course she doesn't! She can't even compete with me. Besides... She's a girl!
Chyna hadn't turned her attention from Triple H, but her face went into a complete look of disgust as a twinkle reached Hunter's eye. He didn't turn his gaze from Chyna, but did stick his right hand out toward Edge cleverly holding up three fingers and couting down until he reached 0. 3...2...1...
Chyna: WHAT?! A WHAT?!
Triple H: A girl...
He gestured toward her chest.
Triple H: Kinda comes with the territory.
Chyna: Well Edge... this girl is going to kick. your. ass, at the Royal Rumble.
Edge: Yeah, right. Whatever. I'm not facing you. I'm not facing a woman for the IC Title.
Chyna: Hey, Jeff Jarrett called, he commends you on being so old fashioned, but it's not fucking 1999 anymore.
Chyna was actually a little miffed. There may have been a bit of a break in kayfabe, maybe. Only a true fan knew for sure.
Triple H: Ummmm, Joan... I'm pretty sure you can't say that word on television.
Chyna: Shit!
Triple H: Or that one...
Chyna: Damnit!
Triple H: Yeah, that one's safe.
Chyna: Edge, I think you're scared, so how about you prove to the whole wide world that you're not afraid to take on a woman.
Edge: A woman?! Wrestling's most famous Tranny doesn't get to have a couple hundred thousand dollars worth of surgery and earn the right to call herself a woman.
Chyna started to raise the mic to her lips, but Triple H cut her off.
Triple H: You know Adam, you might watch how you speak to the lady.
Edge: Adam? Oh, Hunter, is that how it is? We're on a first name basis now? Like your obligated to step up for her?
Hunter was quick on his toes.
Triple H: Well, on one hand I'm not...
He gestured with his right before slowly raising his left, a thin white band of wrist tape adorned his fourth finger.
Triple: ...but then on the other hand...
The obvious reference went over the head of most, but not that of Edge.
Edge: Okay, fine, but I'm still not facing her.
Chyna: You said you needed a contender.
Edge: A contender! Not a wishful thinker!
Triple H: Okay then Edge, prove you're not afraid. I've got better things to do, hell, I've got a Royal Rumble to win, and there is only one more show between now and then. But Monday Night, live in Egypt, I'm going to take you on. And if I win, Chyna gets a shot at your intercontinental title at the Royal Rumble, and if you say no, it'll be obvious that you know you can't beat me.
Edge looked on at the two of them exasperated. He finally shook his head.
Edge: Okay! Okay! Fine, whatever! You're on.
"The Game" started to play as Joey Styles and King raved about what a great start the show had gotten off to.
Match #1
The Triple Threat Match got the show off to a great wrestling start. Val Venis came out with the X-Division title, and the fans seemed to appreciate it. Val Venis took it to Vengeance while Shane Douglas spent a lot of time looking on. He finally got involved in the toss up and the three men took hard hits at each other. Val was able to get the money shot in on Vengeance, and get the pin, qualifiying him for the Royal Rumble Match.
Winner: Val Venis
Reason: Great Roleplay!
Match #2
Miss Jones came to the ring with cheers from the crowd. Karen Angle was quickly behind her, grabbing her by the hair and tossing her into the ring. Miss Jones hit some hard lefts on Karen, who stumbled backwards but managed to get the upper hand. She hit a hard kick to the stomach, and rolled Miss Jones up with the schoolboy rollup for the win.
Winner: Karen Angle
Reason: Better Roleplay.
SEGMENT
Though he was in Zambia, Wes Ikeda made an appearance on Aggression via the videotron. The crowd gave him a cheerful welcome.
Wes Ikeda: The road to Wrestlemania Seven is Here! The onslaught of new talent has caused the EBWF Veterans and the EBWF Faithful to ban together to get exactly what they want, and because I find that it works more often than not I've decided to take more of a hands off approach. However, with the excitement in the EBWF I cannot help but to think that it may be time to bring those Tag Team Titles that were vacated a few months ago, back into the game. Next week on Warfare, the tag team tournament begins. The four teams participating are currently posted on EBWF.net. Play nicely boys. Only one team can be EBWF Tag Team Champions.
The screen went dark.
Match #3
The royal rumble qualifier turned out to be a madhouse. Sandman hit Batista in the head with a singapore cane behind the refs back. This gave Jimmy Jacobs ample time to hit a drop kick, and take advantage of the downed Batista. Pinning him for the 1...2...3.
Winner: Jimmy Jacobs
Reason: Better Roleplay. Julien you'll still be in the Royal Rumble. Don't worry. :)
SEGMENT
The crowd cheered as the tron lit up, displayng a backstage area. Triple H was seen walking alone in a hallway, still dressed in jeans, but now sporting a D-Generation-X t-shirt. He looked to be a little more than aggitated and then the crowd grew louder as he turned a corner and came face to face with his long time stablemate HBK Shawn Michaels. Shawn was grinning like an idiot.
Triple H: What? Have you been spying on the women's locker room again?
Shawn Michaels: Hunter! I am a married man! I don't do such things! Like I would spy on the girls.
Triple H: Oh, that's right. I forgot, Playgirl is a gay magazine.
Shawn Michaels: You told me only girls...
Triple H: That story is getting pretty tired Shawn. Anyway, what's up...
Shawn Michaels: You know how I have a heart for the homeless?
Triple H: Ummm... no, can't say I do.
Shawn Michaels: Well I do. I mean... I really, really do... and... I found something that could really use a good home, and... I just... here, follow me.
Curiousity getting the best of him, Hunter followed Shawn around the corner and into a room that clearly read 'Wes Ikeda' on the door. Hunter shrugged and followed Shawn in. Wes was nowhere to be seen. The tag team titles were strewn across Wes' desk.
Shawn Michaels: They need a home.
Triple H: The tag team titles... are homeless?
Shawn Michaels: Yes! I mean, look at them, lying helplessly across this desk, just... waiting to be taken.
Triple H: Sorry, what? I... I was...
Shawn Michaels: Daydreaming about a woman lying helplessly across a desk waiting to be taken.
Triple H: Maybe.
Shawn Michaels: But... I mean, Gold. It's almost... better.
Triple H: Ummm...maybe?
Shawn Michaels: This message brought to you by your friends at D-Generation-X who choose to be like all the fans on the EBWF.net forums who can't stay on topic.
Triple H: I heard he's holding a tournament.
Shawn Michaels: And the teams were posted! We're not in it!
Triple H: We're...not? ...Well then... we can't do much about finding these titles a home...
Shawn grabbed one of the titles and roughly slammed it to Hunter's torso.
Shawn Michaels: There, that looks like a good home for it. Just as good as any I'd say... if not better.
Triple H: You're staring at my abs Shawn... not helping the gay rumors buddy.
Shawn ignored him and placed the other title around his waist.
Triple H: If the other tag belt lives there... doesn't that make your World Title homeless? Where's it going to stay?
Shawn Micheals: Ah, you know... I found some pretty nice digs for it.
Shawn turned toward the door and Hunter followed him curiously. They walked a couple doors down, and Shawn fully opened the door to reveal a studio where a photoshoot for EBWFShop.net was taking place. In the background, Chyna was modeling a pair of DX Sleeping Shorts, topless with only the EBWF World Title fastened around her chest for coverage. King made the usual crude and retarded comments and on the video screen Hunter looked at Shawn with the usual smirk.
Triple H: Nice digs indeed. I like the way you think.
Shawn Michaels:And that my friend is why this...
He gestured between the two tag titles.
Shawn Micheals: ...is going to work so well.
Shawn and Hunter walked off, photos still being snapped in the background as the scene faded out.
Match #4
JBL got the win over Rhino after hitting a chokeslam on the manbeast. The Rock no showed the event.
Winner: JBL
Reason: Better RP from JBL
Match #5
Edge and Storm were putting on one hell of a technical Canadian shootout. The crowd was on it's feet for a majority of it. Edge got a near fall several times, but to no avail. Storm took on Edge with all the rage he seemed to be directing at everyone lately, and the show seemed to be all but over when Edge geared up for the spear. The crowd lost focus though when Shawn Michaels stormed the ring from an unknown location and kicked Edge in the face before he could hit the move. Lance seemed confused, but never too trusting, and recieved a kick in the face himself. Shawn looked down at Edge and shrugged, seemingly only kicking him first so he would get the win. Shawn didn't need the world title to make his message to Lance clear, and he shook his head as he headed up the rampway to a mixed reaction from the crowd as Aggression went off the air.
Winner: Edge
Reason: No Storm RP.
