Match #1

The show opened with the Phenomenal AJ Styles taking on Randy Orton and Kurt Angle. AJ got a good reaction from the crowd, and his high spots seemed to go over pretty well. Angle and Orton couldn't seem to keep up with him. At first they double teamed the smaller competitor, but their egos got the better of them and their alliance was short lived. AJ Styles took both men down with a double flying clothesline off the top rope and the fans got behind him as he waited for one man to get to his feet. The first up was Randy Orton, and AJ Styles hit him with a dropkick that sent him tumbling out of the ring and to the floor. AJ turned around just in time to see Kurt Angle starting to stir. He lay in wait and as soon as Kurt was up, AJ hit him with the Styles clash before covering for thw 1...2...3.

Winner: AJ Styles

Reason: Nobody else RPed.

Suddenly, the arena went dark... for a few seconds, there was silence. Then a voice whispered "The day is coming", and a video began to play. It began with Lance Storm's attack on Chris Jericho a few weeks ago, in slow motion... eerie music played in the background at a similar slow speed, with the occasional whisper of "the day is coming". Suddenly the video and accompanying music sped up, and the EBWFtron showed line after line of the message "THE.DAY_IS.COMING", with the occasional flash of other text hinting when the return may be (eg RUMBLE, MANIA, TONIGHT). The video continued to speed up until the text was moving too quickly to be read. The screen then went black, and there was an explosion. Some fans cheered, expecting Jericho, though no one appeared. The message "THE.DAY_IS.COMING" appeared on the EBWFtron again, this time just once, although a lot larger. The screen flashed and the message changed to "RETRIBUTION_IS.COMING", then after another flash and the message became "SAVE_US.Y2J".
Match #2
In a battle of the giants, The Undertaker went one on one with the Great Khali. Neither were intimidated by the other, and the match began with both men slugging each other with right hands. Khali got the better of the exchange and dominated the entire match. He pounded the Undertaker with right hands and backed the big man into the corner. The crowd booed as Khali began yelling something in Indian...it sounded aggressive, and that seemed to be the intention because Khali came charging at Taker and caught him with a vicious clothesline. The Undertaker was slouched down in the corner and Khali wrapped his hand hands around the Dead Man's head, locking in the vice grip. He dragged Taker to the center of the ring, and picked him up into the air before clamming him back down. Khali beat his chest then dragged Taker up again. He hit him with a chokeslam, and made the cover...1...2...3! Khali made an extremely impressive debut.

Winner: Khali
Reason: No Taker RP.

Due to the stress in his personal life, Wes Ikeda really had no desire to be live in front of the Egyptian crowd, so he opted to appear in Africa once more via the video tron. And instead of ignoring the instant internet rumors he went at them head on. He grinned slightly at the camera as the fans cheered for him on sight.

Wes Ikeda: Already the rumors start flying. Wes Ikeda can't handle his business because life has dealt him a bad hand. Rest assured that I have nothing better to do than handle my business. This business, this industry is my life, and no money hungry, greedy, former wrestling superstar is going to change that. So as we prepare to go into Iraq for the first pay-per-view of 2008, believe me... I'm ready. I'm ready to take on life. I'm ready to take on the world. The power that all of you have assumed I've lost, well I'm about to prove to you that it's been here with me all along. And I'm going to begin to prove my point with you Val Venis. I'm not going to start with the obvious. I'm not going to rib you for being a former "adult star". I'm not going to harass you for being a terrible wrestler. But what I will call you out for is taking something you had no right to take. Something that you didn't even earn. The EBWF X-Division Title. You didn't even get in line Val. You didn't even wait your turn. You came in here, pushed your way to a title, reached out and just took it. You completely disrespected your peers, and you proved that you're a complete chicken #$%#.

The crowd cheered as the Production Truck censored the EBWF Chairman.

Wes Ikeda: Hey, you morons in the truck! This is my show, and I say what I want to say. Make sure you understand me Val, only no talent losers pick up titles they didn't earn and claim them as their own. Only no talent losers...

Wes' look of intensity quickly changed and the crowd looked on as he swallowed hard. A hand clasped his shoulder and he slowly turned to his right. Only to be confronted by a man precisely his height, and though they were roughly the same size, the DX t-shirt he was wearing along with the tag title on his shoulder made him larger than life.

Triple H: Hiya Wes.

His mouth curled into the trademarked Triple H smirk, and Wes swallowed hard again.

Triple H: Hmmm... what's wrong Wes? You look like you saw a... no talent loser or something.

Wes Ikeda: What? I mean... well... there's a lot of factors... and...

Wes was stammering. It was hardly becoming of him and was extremely rare. And then he felt another presence behind him, and turned rather quickly.

Shawn Michaels: Whoa, whoa, whoa there Wesley! Don't try to back pedal now. I believe you just called D-Generation X a coupla.... what he say Hunter?

Triple H: No talent losers.

Shawn Michaels: What? But I'm...

Wes Ikeda: Shawn Michaels.

Shawn Michaels: Exactly.

Wes Ikeda: Well you know something Shawn? You're not HBK. Your D-Generation X Shawn Michaels, and as far as I'm concerned... That's kinda cheap.

Wes ignored the fact that Hunter was standing behind him, and Shawn cut him off.

Shawn Michaels: Whoa there partner. You might want to remember who the world champion of this little promotion is. You might want to remember the name of the guy who keeps this ship afloat. You might want to remember that I'm not here to please you.

Wes Ikeda: You might want to remember that I'm your boss.

Triple H: You might want to stop saying you might want to before every sentence. Just a suggestion. It's kind of... redundant.

Shawn Michaels: Hunter... stay out of this. Wes, tell me... do you think I'm a no talent loser? Do you think that I didn't wait my turn?

Wes Ikeda: Well, maybe you could have earned it. I mean... it might have made you a little more... credible.

Triple H: What do you know about credibility?

Wes Ikeda: Maybe not a whole lot, but I respect Shawn, and that's why I can have this conversation... with him.

Triple H: Well whatever you can say to Shawn, you can say to me.

Wes Ikeda: Okay Shawn, you need to lose the dead weight you've been carrying around. All two hundred and fifty pounds of it.

Triple H: Why don't you turn around and say that to my face.

Wes Ikeda: Oh my God, you are the biggest prick walking this planet.

Triple H: I was just thinking the same thing about you...

The two men stepped up to each other with an intense stare. Shawn looked uncomfortable for a moment, and then Hunter grinned, Wes grinned, and Shawn stiffled a laugh.

Wes Ikeda: Oh, we had 'em going there for a minute.

Hunter looked at the camera and smirked.

Triple H: You losers actually thought you were going to get a real fight. Instead you get to be entertained by the ever original Voodoo Kin Mafia...

Wes Ikeda: Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh you didn't know...

Shawn made guitar rif sounds with his mouth.

Wes Ikeda: Your asssssssss bedddddaaaaa calllllllllll some bodaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyy....

Triple H: It's me... it's me... it's the.... well, actually I'm not going to reduce myself to that, but it's pretty sad that this isn't even our schtick and we're still getting a bigger pop than the Voodoo Kin Mafia!

Shawn Michaels: But Hunter, a herse is aready been called and funeral has been set up and invetations have went out to the vodokin family.

Triple H: Is that Batistan?

Wes Ikeda: No, but it's close.

Triple H: Oh, I didn't know.

Shawn Michaels: Oh, you didn't know?

Wes Ikeda: Your ass better call somebody.

The scene faded as the three men continued their mindless banter.

Match #4
Age of the Fall, the team of Jimmy Jacobs and Lacey made their way to the ring to an array of boos, as most of the fans didn't paritularly like the duo, or what they stood for. Hart Attack hit and the fans cheered, getting behind Teddy and Bret Hart. They made their way to the ring with Bret carrying his signature Canadian flag. Teddy started out against Jacobs and the bell rang. The two locked up and the men put on an entertaining few minutes of wrestling before Jacobs tagged out to Lacey. Lacey stepped into the ring and Teddy broke into a smirk. He winked at her and then stepped towards her. It was hard to make out what he was saying, but it certainly seemed like something Lacey didn't like the sound of. She charged at him with a spear sending him back into the ropes. Bret ran into the ring and shoved Lacey backwards as she was hitting Teddy around the head whilst he was tangled in the ropes. Jacobs came into the ring and hit Bret Hart with a dropkick. But Teddy grabbed Lacey by the hair and threw her through the ropes before kicking Jacobs in the knees. Jacobs went down to one knee, and Teddy ran into the ropes before bouncing back and hitting him with a dropkick to the face. Bret got back up, and the referee convinced him to leave the ring. Teddy leapt to the top rope and jumped down into Jimmy Jacobs, hitting the Open Hart Surgery. He then tagged Bret who immediately made his way over to Jacobs and locked him in the sharpshooter. Lacey tried to get back into the ring but Teddy noticed her and leapt over the ropes, taking her back down with a cross body. Jacobs tapped, and The Hart foundation advanced in the Tag title tournament!

The scene opened in the ring as Warfare returned from a commercial break. Lilian Garcia was standing there holding a mic.

Lilian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen it is now time for the final edition of Batista’s Manager Search. Tonight a winner will be declared.

The Crowd Popped as Lilian nodded and lowered the mic.The whole arena was decorated for the special event. There was a red carpet on the entrance ramp. There were balloons everywhere, and the ring ropes were wrapped with ribbons. There was a podium in the middle of the ring along with a table displaying a trophy and a bottle of wine. The entrance ramp had been covered with red carpets and velvet ropes to guide the superstars to the ring.

Lillian Garcia: At this time, please welcome the host of the phenomenon, The Animal, Dave Batista!

I walk Alone blasted through the speakers and the crowd went wild! The familiar tune continued to blast through the arena as Batista made his way to the ring for the Finale of Batista’s Manager Search. Batista charged through the curtains in his black tuxedo and designer shades. He taunted to the crowd at the entrance ramp before crouching down for his signature pyro taunt.

BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM

The whole area was dazzling as huge fireworks lit up the stage in time with the signal from Batista’s hands. Batista then stood in the middle of the entrance ramp, and sucked in all the energy coming from the crowd. He then slowly strutted to the steel steps and got into the ring. He walked towards the nearest turnbuckle and taunted. The crowd gave a very positive response. He then slowly made his way to the podium.

Batista: Well, well, well… It seemed like just yesterday when I started by little project and tonight it finally all comes to an end. But before I bring out my final two contestants…the technical crew backstage has prepared a little video montage paying tribute to the past contestants.

The scene switched to the titan tron where a video montage started to play with the song “Move Along” by All American Rejects in the background. It first showed Jerry Lawler entering in the contest. Secondly it showed the Kat strutting her stuff. Lastly it displayed the Hot Rod Rowdy Roddy Piper. Then the clips showed how each got eliminated. First it was Jerry Lawler who exited the show with a huge Batista Bomb. Then it was the Kat, who was given a spank good bye. Lastly it was Roddy Piper, who also was eliminated via Batista Bomb. The clips also showed other memorable parts of the contest such as Kane double chokeslamming Jerry Lawler and Piper, Kat doing the Go-Daddy dance and Stacey bending down to get in the ring. At the end of the clip, the picture of Stacey was shown to the left and the picture of Kane was shown to the right. There was a picture of a mystery person in the middle with a question mark on him/her and the logo “Batista’s Manager”. As the clip came to an end, Batista got back on the mic.

Batista: Wow that was amazing. Let’s get things rolling. Introducing first, she has hottest pairs of legs in this planet, Stacey Keibler.

Legs Legs Legs

The Kid Rock song blasted through the speakers as Stacey Keibler made her way to the ring. She taunted to the crowd before making her way through the ring ropes. Stacey was wearing a beautiful black gown with heels. She blew a kiss to the crowd and then gave a hug to Batista.

Batista: Ladies and gentlemen, please give another round of applause to Miss Keibler.

The Crowd Cheered.

Batista: Introducing finalist #2, he has been on a rampage since his debut on this show, please give it up for the Big Red Machine, Kane!

Burn in Hell exploded through the speakerphones and fire shot out the entrance podium. Kane slowly walked towards the ring, showing no emotion except hatred and anger on his face. Kane got into the ring and stood in the middle. He raised his hands up and then brought them down and at that moment, fire shot out from the turnbuckles. Batista: Now that’s what you call an entrance. Let’s cut to the chase guys. You both are amazing wrestlers and it would be an honor if any of you decided to be my manager. Stacey, your beautiful, smart, charming and you can get it done in the ring. Kane, you can definitely get it done in the ring and I know you will always have my back. This was a really tough decision for me but here it goes… Stacey, you have been consistent through out this competition. You show potential that interests me greatly.

Batista stopped for a moment before carrying on…

Batista: Kane, you entered this competition with a blast and you made sure that anyone who get on your way was demolished and I like that about you. However I think you are a nutcase and at times you can go psycho for no apparent reason. So with that being said… Stacey Keibler, you are the winner of Batista’s Manager Search~!

Stacey’s face lit up with glee as she heard the good news. Fireworks exploded and confetti dropped from the ceiling As Batista went towards Stacey and gave her a hug. He then went over towards Kane to shake his hand but Kane snapped and delivered Batista a huge uppercut. Batista dropped to the mat momentarily. Kane then set his target for Stacey. He grabbed the blonde bombshell by the throat and prepared to deliver a chokeslam. However, Batista managed to make the save as he pummeled Kane down from the back. He then deliverd a huge spear to the big red machine. Batista then pulled Kane up and placed him between his knees. Thumbs up…..Thumbs Down! Batista delivered huge Batista Bomb to Kane through the table! The crowd cheered and chanted "holy shit".

Batista then grabbed the bottle of Champagne and popped it open. He celebrated in the ring with his new manager, Stacey Keibler as Kane lay senseless in the middle of the mat.

“I walk alone” played as Warfare faded into an advertisement from the sponsers.

Match #5
Voodoo Kin Mafia were making there in ring debut against the Cleveland Mafia, who were also debuting. The match was pretty one sided with Eric Ryan dominating for a while until Rowe got tagged in. Ray Rowe charged towards BG James and Eric Ryan, firing punches left and right at both members of VKM. They were momentarily down, and Rowe taunted before tagging back in J-Rocc. James made his way back to the apron and Eric Ryan managed to tag him in before J-Rocc could prevent it. The match quickly became a brawl between two smash mouth Wrestlers. BG countered the Running power bomb from J-Rocc into a pump handle suplex and covered...Rowe started to run into the ring but Eric Ryan mat him and knocked him out with a flying forearm. He went for the pin 1..2.. J-Rocc reversed. The referee counted...1...2...3! Cleveland Mafia celebrated as they were on their way to the finals of the tag tournament.
Match #6
Karen Angle seemed to get a large pop from the Cairo crowd and Jillian Hall came to the stage after her. She opened her mouth to sing, but was quickly booed off to the ring. The two woman locked up in a great show of strength. After a lengthy match Karen applied the Karen Clutch but Jillian managed to pull herself to the ropes. The crowd booed as Jillian kicked Karen off of her. Jillian managed to hit the Hall of Famer on Karen and pin her for the 1...2...3.

Winner: Jillian Hall
Reason: Tough choice. Felt Tez's rp was a tad more fresh and focused.

Match #7
Edge came out to the ring with the Ic Title on his shoulder. "Time to Play the Game" hit the PA and the Cairo fans popped for Triple H as he came onto the staging area with Chyna at his side, tag team belt on his shoulder. She was dressed in a black dress with a silver belt, and matching silver boots. He continued his usual entrance as she surveyed the crowd. As he was climbing the ring apron she proceeded over to the announce table. The instrumental break hit and Hunter prepared to do his bit with the water. The crowd unloaded for the familiar taunt.

King: Chyna, are you looking forward to the Royal Rumble?

Chyna: I'm looking forward to showboat here to get done with his act and just wrestle already. This is the second longest entrance in wrestling history. The Undertaker being the first, but DX is too cool to watch Undertaker entrances. Hunter takes a power nap during Taker's entrance, this one is getting just as long though.

King seemed to get a kick out of her teasing and the match began. Triple H opened with a facebuster and Chyna yawned.

Chyna: Woo-hoo!

Styles: Chyna, you seem bored.

Chyna: He's facing Edge. Does he have but any other option to win?

Styles: Might this have something to do with your shot at the IC Title.

Chyna: No, shut up.

The match continued with Chyna at ringside, but she made no attempt to get involved. The men traded blows and kept their work mostly to the ring. Edge went for the spear, but Triple H managed to move out of the way in time for Edge to get a shoulder full of ring post. The crowd cheers grew louder and a "Triple H" chant went up. Hunter immediately played for American television and looked annoyed as hell that they would even acknowledge him. Edge returned to his feet and the men went back to trading blows as the "Triple H" chant continued.

Styles: Despite his recent comments quite the acknowledgement for Triple H.

Chyna: Would you expect anything less? D-Generation X's celebrity spreads world wide.

Edge charged Hunter and walked into a set up for the Pedigree. Hunter connected the finisher, and pinned Edge cleanly. The crowd went wild again, and Triple H observed them as if to call them a bunch of idiots. His music began to play, and he slid out of the ring nearest the announce table. Chyna had proven her point about the supreme greatness of DX and together they set up the ramp together. Though a 'Triple H' chant was still filling the arena, he ignored the fiendish crowd and stopped only on the rampway to turn around with the Tag Belt and provide the EBWF Camera Crew with another photo op. Finally Hunter noticed that the little red light on the camera had gone off signaling that Warfare had gone off the air. Hunter glanced in Chyna's direction and she gave a soft smile as he adjusted the belt on his shoulder. The chant died down and Hunter pointed to all sides of the audience to acknowledge them before applauding himself. The crowd popped louder and Chyna raised Hunter's right arm in victory before they turned and exited through the curtain.
