The show started off with a hype video for the Wrestlemania Main Event.
The fans cheered as the video blended into the EBWF Aggression intro.
Match #1
Dawn Marie and Beth Phoenix made their way to the ring first, and the fans booed appropriately. They didn't seem to care as they stood in the ring, awaiting the arrival of their opponents. Jillian Hall came out first, but waited half way down the ramp for her partner. Karen Angle came out with the women's title, and stopped next to Jillian. Dawn Marie had exited the ring and brought Phoenix a chair, and Beth seemed to be challenging her opponents to get into the ring. Jillian and Karen looked at each other, nodded and ran to the ring together. They slid through the ropes and Dawn Marie did as Beth had asked and stayed away from the action. Beth Phoenix managed to lay out Jillian with a chair as she ran into the ring but Karen caught Beth with her women's title, sending her stumbling backwards. Dawn stood in the corner of the ring and cringed, and Karen hit Beth with a suplex. 1...2...kickout. Beth got up, slowly, but she seemed to be recovering from the shot to the head quite quickly. Karen whipped Beth into the ropes and Beth responded by hitting Karen with a clothesline as she rebounded. She went for the cover...1...2...kickout. Jillian was making her way back to her feet and as Karen got back up, Jillian caught Beth in the face with a forearm. Beth stumbled, and Jillian caught her again. Jillian went for a third shot but Beth blocked, and got in a shot of her own. The match continued pretty evenly, and Dawn stayed largely uninvolved as she slid out of the ring. She slid a trashcan through the ropes towards Beth, and Beth picked it up with a grin. She swung at Karen with it, but Karen ducked and as Beth turned around to take another shot, Jillian caught her with a dropkick, sending the trash can flying into Beth's face. Beth went down, and Jillian nodded towards Karen who hit a legdrop on the trashcan. Jillian pulled Phoenix up, and hit her with the Hall of Famer. Karen and Jillian both went for the cover at the same time and the ref counted...1...2...3! Dawn tried to get in the ring but she didn't make it in time. Karen and Jillian slid out of the ring, and made their way up the ramp victorious.
Winners: Karen Angle and Jillian Hall
Reason: Their combined RPs won out. But the RP from Beth and Dawn's handler was good too.
SEGMENT
"Cho Cho Chosen One' hits as Jeff Jarrett makes his way down to the ring looking cocky and smug as he climbs into the ring and grabs a microphone and begins to speak.
Jeff Jarrett: Ikeda, lets just hurry this up. Make your way down here so I can get what I want.
Jarrett waits for a little bit but no Wes Ikeda in sight as he starts to get agitated Ikeda appears on the titantron and smiles smugly at Jarrett.
Wes Ikeda: Well Jeff, seems like you're being just a little bit cocky for my tastes. You think I really care about you or what you want? Last I checked you're way, way, way down there on the bottom of the food chain. You haven't even competed here in the EBWF. Hell, after you do I might decide you're a waste of space and dismiss you. Don't get all upset though, you wouldn't be the first to make a quick exit, but I want to see what you've got old man. I have decided, and believe me my decisions are the only ones that count for anything, you can have your first EBWF match at Wrestlemania. But there is a little catch you see as this match is against the man that you attacked, Dusty Rhodes. But... and of course there's a but...
Jeff Jarrett: Well Ikeda hurry up and tell me. I am sick of looking at your smug face.
Wes Ikeda: I don't believe I asked for your commentary. You better learn to play with the big dogs are you're going to be relegated to the porch. You see your demands may not be met if you don't win your first EBWF match, because at Wrestlemania 7, you and Dusty Rhodes will battle in a 'Loser Leaves Town' Match. Don't unpack your boxes just yet Jeff. You may not even get to move in.
Jarrett gets a look of disgust on his face as he storms out of the ring and to the backstage area after being one upped by Wes Ikeda.
OOC: Thanks to Ian for writing this segment. I edited the Wes Ikeda talk to better portray his character. I hope you are still happy with it.
Match #2
'Wasup' hit and Ron Killings made his way to the ring. He slid into the ring, waiting for the arrival of the Undertaker. When the Undertaker's music hit, Killings didn't even flinch. The Undertaker was intimindating as always as he slowly made his way to the ring, but Killings didn't back down. The Undertaker stared at Killings coldly, and Killings just stared back up at him as if to say "bring it on". The bell rang, and Killings actually took the first shot. It didn't seem to hurt the Undertaker much, but Killings took another shot, and another. The Undertaker stood, taking the abuse, then he shoved Killings backwards and went for the tombstone. Killings got out of it, and kicked the Undertaker hard in the knee. The Undertaker faltered and Killings smelled the proverbial blood in the water and continued the attack. It took a lot of effort to take control of the match, but Killings did so, and took a lot of abuse on his way to his victory. He somehow managed to hit the Truth Consequences on the Deadman, and pined him for the three count.
Winner: Killings
Reason: Better roleplay.
Match #3
Bobbi Billard Vs.Talia Madison was cancelled
Winner: Nobody
Reason: No RPs.
Segment
"Thrash Unreal" hit and Joanie Laurer made her way out to the ring, dressed in some nice jeans and a DX baby tee. She had a microphone in hand, and she began to speak.
Joanie Laurer: You can save your booes...I'm not Chyna right now, I'm just here to deliver a message from Wes. As we all know, Karen Angle won the Women's title on Warfare. This begs the question...who will challenge for the Women's title at Wrestlemania? Well, the answer is...no-one.
The fans booed.
Joanie Laurer: I told you about that...
She cleared her throat.
Joanie Laurer: Instead, Karen will have the night off. And since we don't think prissy little Melina deserves a rematch, Beth Phoenix will face Jillian Hall for the Number One Contendership. That's all. Good luck, ladies.
Thrash Unreal hit again, and Joanie left the ring.
Match #4
Samoa Joe's music hit and he stormed to the ring looking like he was ready to take care of business. He looked serious as always, and the fans were behind him. He waited for Mainlining Murder to hit, and when it did SJK stepped through the curtain to a round of boos. He was dressed in an Age of the Fall t-shirt and pointed to the logo with a mean grin as he made his way down the ramp. He and Joe both looked determined, and neither one seemed prepared to back down without a fight. The bell rang, and a fight was exactly what both men got. The men fought for a few minutes in a back and forth exchange before Joe began to get the upper hand. He forced SJK into the corner, caught him with a running back elbow then with a running knee to the face. The fans let out a collective "oooh" and there was a "thwack" as Joe's knee made contact with Keenan's face. Joe pulled SJK to his feet, threw him in the ropes and hit him with a Samoan Drop when he bounced back. The fans clapped, but Joe wasn't done. He dragged SJK back to the center of the ring and hit him with the Island Driver. Joe went for the cover. 1..2...3! The fans cheered as the referee raised Joe's hand in victory.
Winner: Samoa Joe
Reason: No Sterling James Keenan RP.
SEGMENT
The fans were expecting Rhodes v Jacobs, but instead Time to Play The Game hit, and Triple H walked through the curtain. He had a tag team title around his waist, but wasn't accompanied by HBK or Chyna. He slid into the ring, ignoring the boos, and grabbed a mic.
Triple H: So I guess now we know what Jeff Hardy's angle is...that's great. Good for him. But while Mister Money in the Bank beat me last year at Wrestlemania...he needs to realize that this is 2008, not 2007... Things are a little different around here. While he was building treehouses and wrestling on a trampoline during his time off, some of us were actually working. And--
Pretty Handsome Awkward hit and the crowd popped as Jeff Hardy ran out onto the stage. He was carrying his MITB briefcase, and ran down the ramp, sliding into the ring. He and Hunter glared at each other as Jeff climbed a turnbuckle, posing with the Gunz. Hopping off, the lovely Lillian handed him a mic.
Jeff Hardy: So bitter Hunter! Really man, you think I wasn't busting my ass while I was home? I was getting my ass in shape for this big comeback. I kinda let myself go there at the end of my run. I mean, when Frenchy French can beat me for the World Title, I think that says a little something. Sure, I slapped Bret around plenty before that, but I got a bit cocky afterwards, you know?
Triple H: I thought Frenchy McFaggot had joined you in North Carolina for a naked rematch...is that what you constitute as "hard" work?
"Hart Attack" hit and the crowd popped once more. Bret came from behind the curtain in his trademark glasses and usual getup.
Bret Hart: Now, hold on there a minute young guns...
Triple H: Get lost old-timer...the big boys are talking. Why don't you join your buddy Ric in the wack-shack?
Jeff Hardy: Seriously though...Young guns? Do either of us look like Emilio Estevez to you?
Bret Hart: You guys are starting to act like you're the only two people in the match. I could just take my championship and leave you to it if you want...
Triple H: How about you leave the belt, since you don't deserve it to begin with.
Jeff Hardy: I second that.
Bret started to speak again but "Almost Over" hit the PA and Wes Ikeda came to the ring with a microphone already in hand. Dressed much like the rest of them instead of in a suit and tie he entered his ring as Boston booed him out of the building.
Wes Ikeda: Yeah, yeah... you're still pissed about the Tigers and the Red Sox... I know.
A "You screwed Cena" chant went up and Wes cocked his head to the side...
Wes Ikeda: Wow, I knew Boston was slow, but I didn't imagine they were so stupid that they're still talking about the EMF...
Triple H: And are you here to add anything to this little get-together, or just to get your face on-screen?
Wes Ikeda: Whoa, whoa, whoa... this is the third time I've been out here tonight. This is the last place I want to be, but I wanted to come out here and make sure you boys don't get out of hand. You want to tell me where this new found problem with me came from?
Triple H: I'm Triple fucking H...I say what I want to who I want.
Wes Ikeda: Well then I'll see if I can't find some friendly company in this direction. Hi Jeff.
Bret Hart: Ummm... excuse me?
Wes Ikeda: Oh My God... didn't we tell you to get lost?
Jeff Hardy: But leave the belt. I mean, that's why I'm back.
Bret Hart: There is NO WAY that I am going to let you three goons disrespect me right before Wrestlemania. I'm the champion and you better start treating me like one! I mean I'm looking at three men - this one smoked every single on of his brain cells away, this one was born with shit for brains, and this one thinks with his cock... the three of you talk amongst yourselves to figure out who's who.
Triple H: Um...I don't smoke.
Jeff Hardy: I think that's me.
Triple H: Can I be the one with the cock? If it's big enough to think on its own, it must be pretty impressive.
Wes Ikeda: Actually Hunter, I think we might of gotten double insults. That one and the shit for brains kind of applies to both of us if you think about it...
Triple H: Well it beats being Bret. He was born with no cock.
Jeff Hardy: You might want to get some ointment for that burn there, Bret.
Triple H: Touche.
Bret Hart: Ikeda... why don't you tell us what it is you want...
"Ohhhh Shawn" Sexy Boy hit and the crowd gave a mixed reaction. HBK came out to the stage which promptly sent Bret Hart to the ring. Bret rolled in, keeping his distance from Shawn.
Shawn Michaels: Well out of the frying pan... into the fire...
Triple H: Um, hey...did I give you permission to steal my thunder?
Wes Ikeda: Well if it isn't Shawn "I never got my world title rematch" Michaels. You're late. Where's our booze?
Shawn Michaels: If we're talking about Wrestlemania, you don't need booze. The party is called HBK, aka MISTER Wrestlemania. Concerning...because as things stand, I don't even have a match.
Wes Ikeda: I'm going to get to that. Just not tonight. Now, listen... Jeff... what I have to say tonight really concerns you, so first of all I want to say Welcome Home and Welcome Back.
Jeff Hardy: Thanks, and I promise this time I'll stick around longer. Or at least I'll stop leaving and returning, and then repeating.
Wes Ikeda: We go way, way back... so ummm... I want to clear up some speculation right now... you down with that?
Jeff Hardy: Fo sho, playa.
Wes Ikeda: Jeff and I got farther back than the ties that bound me to the great State of North Carolina. Now my dirty skank whore of an exwife seems to have danced on the nerves of the fans a little bit and...
A "Lita" chant went up and Wes grinned. He was only playing on his own heat. The topic really wasn't as amusing as he made it seem.
Wes Ikeda: ...Jeff and I continue to work toward a common goal and... She's not here, so shut your mouths. She'll never be here again, so dream on. ...Jeff the reason you're here right now is because I truly believe that you're in this for the right reasons. Though I've been wrong before I don't think I'm entirely wrong about this. So Jeff Hardy my simple request tonight is that you put all of the nay sayers to bed. Those who believe you're trying to pull a fast one, and open that case and sign the contract that's inside of it.
Jeff Hardy: *Jeff looked from Wes to Shawn and back* Yeah, sure. You got a pen?
Wes Ikeda: Wait, wait what was that?
Jeff Hardy: That was me being apprehensive, man. Like you said, we've got a history, and I haven't exactly been the best friend. I doubt these people forgot the nWo, my role in that and my little turn on you.
Wes Ikeda: Apprehension on your part? Might I remind you Jeff that when it comes to you and I, you have been the first one to turn...consistently.
Jeff Hardy: Exactly my point, Wes. It's the cheaters in a relationship that fear being cheated on. So long as Shawn over there is out of kicking range, I'm cool.
Shawn Michaels: Hey now...leave me out of this.
Triple H: You can't be left out of it... seems the basement nerds have labeled you the new Shannon Moore in town... or is it Alex Shelley... we're all confused reallly.
Shawn Michaels: Uh, hey. Do I have a stupid haircut and painted fingernails? Do I have stupid black paint on my face? No.
Wes grabbed a pen from his back pocket, and offered it to Hardy. Jeff took it, and opened up the briefcase. He pulled out the contract, and waited a second. When no superkick came, he went ahead and signed his name on the dotted line.
Triple H: I guess it's official.
Jeff Hardy: Now we beat the crap out of each other before the show? Or has that been done too many times?
Triple H: I don't need to touch you. Actions speak louder than words, sure...but I'm saving my actions for when they matter.
Wes Ikeda: There it is... Jeff Hardy, Triple H, and the World Champion Bret Hart in a ladder match at Wrestlemania...
Bret Hart: Sounds good to me.
Wes Ikeda: But...
Shawn Michaels: Oh there's a BUT!
Jeff Hardy: Always a but.
Wes Ikeda: I'll be special guest commentating the little get together, so you boys had better come prepared.
Triple H: Or he'll verbally abuse us while we're unable to defend ourselves...I get it. But don't you worry... I'm coming prepared.
Jeff Hardy: Oh I will Wes, but you know sometimes the worst part is when the faithful one keeps taking the abuse.
Jeff lowered the mic to his side and the arena filled with "Make Some Noise! X-Pac...." and it abruptly cut off.
Jeff Hardy: I'm coming prepared too... and you really ought to get some training for those sound guys... that wasn't my music... weird.
Pretty Handsome Awkward hit, and Jeff left the ring, leaving his opponents standing in the ring searching each other's faces for answers.
