The fans booed as Jillian made her way to the ring. She smiled widely, acting as if they were worshipping her every move. Rico accompanied her and stood at ringside as Angel Williams made her entrance. The fans gave her a pretty flat reaction but she didn't let it bother her as she slid into the ring. Jillian started the match off aggressively, charging at Angel with a clothesline. Angel went down and Jillian pulled her right back up. Powerbomb! Jillian went for the cover...1...2...kickout. Jillian didn't seem to mind - it was still early in the match after all. The match continued, and Angel Williams did little to stop Jillian's offense. It almost seemed inevitable when Jillian hit the Hall of Famer and covered Angel for the three count. Jillian took a moment to celebrate when Beth Phoenix hopped the guard rail. Jillian didn't see her coming but Rico grabbed her by the ankle and pulled her out of the ring just as Beth was sliding in. Beth looked annoyed and she yelled some harsh words in Jillian and Rico's direction as they made their way up the ramp. Angel made the mistake of getting to her feet at the wrong moment. Beth took out her frustrations on the closest person to her, and that was Angel Williams. The crowd cringed as Beth knocked Angel down with hard right hands followed by the Down In Flames. But that wasn't enough. Beth climbed the top rope with Angel in her arms. She set her up and leapt off the turnbuckle, driving Angel's head into the mat with a piledriver from the top rope! The crowd gasped as Angel made contact with the canvas. Crack! Beth left the ring as EMT's rushed to Angel's aid.
Winner: Jillian.
Reason: No Angel Williams roleplay. I'm assuming this one's a lost cause...hence the Beth storyline.
Match #2
Walk by Pantera hit and RVD made his entrance, taunting to the fans, who applauded in response. Cena's music hit and he got a mixed reaction as he came to the ring. Kennedy and Shelton Benjamin were both booed loudly. Kennedy was cocky, and seemed to encourage the boos. Shelton just didn't seem to care. The bell rang and RVD caught Shelton Benjamin with a spinning kick to the head, knocking him down. Cena and Kennedy charged at one another and started exchanging right hands. RVD threw Shelton into the ropes and backdropped him. He went for the cover but Kennedy broke it up. He picked RVD up and drove him into the corner, shoulder-first. Kennedy then picked Shelton up and hit him with the Mic-Check. He didn't get a chance to go for the cover because Cena clotheslined him out of the ring. RVD bursted out of the corner and took down Cena with a spear. Cena was down and RVD hopped onto the top rope. He jumped off, and hit Shelton Benjamin with the five star frog splash. The referee got the three count before either Cena or Kennedy could break up the count.
Winner: RVD
Reason: Close call between RVD and Kennedy but I felt RVD edged it out.
SEGMENT
The scene opened in the backstage area where a camera man was running down the hallway towards a scuffle. John Morrison and Samoa Joe were going at it. Morrison had just thrown Joe head first into a wall and Joe was bleeding. Morrison kicked Joe in the face before DDTing him into the concrete. Joe was out cold. Morrison grinned as Todd Grisham ran into the shot.
Todd Grisham: John! You're supposed to wrestle Joe and The Ultimate Warrior tonight. He's in your match...what are you doing?!
Morrison looked at Grisham and the camera with a smile.
John Morrison: Making...an impact. Warrior's next. The Shaman of Sexy has arrived. Take note.
With an obnoxious wink, Morrison walked away as the EBWF medical staff tended to Joe. They were very busy tonight.
Match #3
The fa ns were looking forward to seeing two new teams go at it, especially two teams with bad blood between them. The bell rang and BG James faced off against Lacey. The two didn't even get to lock up. Killings ran into the ring and tackled Lacey to the ground. Konnan and Rain stormed into the ring and the action degenerated into a two on three fist-fight. The referee rang the bell. DQing 3LK. Killings hit Rain with the Truth Conviction while Konnan and BG James double teamed Rain. BG hit rain with the Pump Handle Slam and 3LK left the ring leaving the two girls unconscious.
Winners: No-one really.
Reason: Phillips RP was slightly better, but Jon's computer broke, so I decided to end it this way. It's an open ending so you guys can have a rematch.
Match #4
The fans didn't know who to cheer for as Matt Hardy took on Paul London for the Number One Contedership for the X-Division title. Paul London and Matt Hardy were on equal footing for the majority of the match and the fans were completely in awe of the fast-paced spectacle that the two put on. Matt went for the twist of fate...reversed! Paul London went for a neckbreaker...reversed! Matt got a DDT and went for the cover. He got a two. London kicked out pretty strongly and got back to hit feet quickly. He ran into the ropes and caught Matt with a flying back elbow, then he hit him with a standing shooting star press. Cover. 1...2...Matt kicked out. The fans applauded as Matt fought back to his feet. Matt and Paul exchanged right hands but neither of the two were brawlers. Matt went for a clothesline. London ducked and caught Matt with a neckbreaker. He hit it this time. He quickly leapt to the top rope and launched himself from the turnbuckle. Shooting Star Press! It connected and the fans cheered as London covered Matt Hardy for the 1...2...3!
Winner: Paul London.
Reason: Very close call here. Both RPs were great...London's just stood out a little more.
Match #5
Lilian Garcia announced that due to the attack on Samoe Joe earlier in the evening, he had been taken to a local hospital for observation and would be unable to compete. The crowd booed as Morrison's music hit and he made his entrance. The debut of John Morrison didn't last long. After taking out Samoe Joe he seemed cocky and confident. The Ultimate Warrior made his entrance and the fans were behind him. He took out Morrison quickly and efficiently, hitting him with a Gorilla Press Slam just four minutes into the match. Wariror went for the cover...1...2..3!
Winner: Ultimate Warrior.
Reason: No Morrison RP. I storeylined Joe out of the match because Matthew was away on military training, and I love a boy in uniform. ;-)
Match #6
The fans were excited to see The Miz take on Lance Storm. They knew they had a great match on their hands, and they were right. Miz was on a roll, but Lance Storm was a former TV and World Champion. He was not to be taken lightly, and had proved time and time again that he could hang with the big boys. Miz smirked and did his "Lance Storm Impression". Lance scowled and kicked Miz in the face! The bell rang and he went for the cover. 1...2...Miz kicked out and Lance shouted something at Miz's fallen body, obviously warning Miz not to mock him. Miz got back up and the two fought on. There was lots of near falls, lots of false finishes, and lots of back and forth action. Lance took Miz down with a clothesline and locked Miz in the Canadian Maple Leaf! The fans assumed it was over and Miz cried out in pain. He fought to make his way to the ropes but as he was inches away, Lance Storm pulled him back to the center of the ring. The fans booed. Storm didn't ease up on the hold as he yelled something towards the fans in the front row who were hurling verbal abuse at him, but his focus was broken and Miz managed to make his way to the ropes. The ref broke the hold but it seemed like the damage was done. Storm dragged Miz back to his feet and went for a second Superkick. Miz ducked and somehow fought back, taking Storm by surprise with the Reality Check. Cover. 1...2...3! Miz won it. The referee raised his hand in victory and he gestured to his waist, indicating that he was coming for the No Limits title.
Winner: The Miz
Reason: This was the toughest match of the night. Both roleplays were hilarious, and I had a hell of a time judging. I went with Miz because his roleplay had more variation to it. It had the humor, but it also had a serious side, and I like the idea of comparing his wrestling matches to sports teams. Good stuff, both of you.
Match #7
It was time for the main event and the fans were high on the night's atmosphere. The Game hit and Triple H made his way down the ramp, world title placed over his shoulder. He took a seat at the commentary table as Pretty Handsome Awkward hit and the fans erupted for the appearance of Jeff Hardy.
Jerry Lawler: Nice to have ya, champ. What do you think of that reaction for Jeff Hardy?
Triple H: Honestly? It reminds me of the way fans react at an N'Sync concert.
Joey Styles: You been to many N'Sync concerts?
Triple H replied, deadpan.
Triple H: A bunch.
"Fuck Everything" hit and Syxx stepped onto the stage. He and Jeff locked eyes as he walked down the ramp and Triple H's expression was cold.
Joey Styles: Hunter, you uh...don't seem very happy.
Triple H: Joey, that man isn't significant enough to effect my mood. But I am looking forward to seeing Hardy kick his ass.
Jerry Lawler: Well you might get what you want...the bell just rang.
Jeff Hardy and Syxx locked up after circling each other in the ring for a few seconds. Jeff got Syxx in a side-headlock, but Syxx pushed Jeff into the ropes, leapfrogging him as he rebounded back, and hitting him with an armdrag on the second rebound. Jeff quickly got back to his feet and charged at Syxx again. This time he got Syxx in position for a snap suplex and hit the move soundly. Syxx hit the mat, but Jeff sense it was too soon for a cover. He was right. Syxx was up fairly quickly and the two were at it again. The two fought on the outside and passed the announce table. Triple H didn't even attempt to move as Syxx slammed Jeff's head into the table. He just quietly looked on with his patented Triple H death-stare and Syxx scowled. It looked as if Syxx might be about to get in Triple H's face but Jeff caught Syxx with a right hand, knocking him backwards. The two fought back into the ring.
Joey Styles: Was that restraint, Hunter, or does Syxx have you a little nervous?
Triple H: Have you ever seen me nervous? Ever? No? Then shut up. I'm not nervous...I'm here to ciritique, and only to critique. And if I were fighting Jeff, I would have slammed his face into that table a hell of a lot harder.
Back in the ring Jeff had Syxx in position for the Twist of Fate. He hit the move, and planted Syxx on the canvas. Jeff held up the Xtreme Gunz before climbing to the top rope.
Triple H: See what I mean... Jeff's got this.
Jeff leapt off the top rope and hit Syxx with the Swanton Bomb. Hunter was right. The ref counted. 1...2...3! Jeff Hardy was the winner. The referee raised Jeff's arm in victory, and Jeff held out a hand to help Syxx up. Syxx accepted, and Jeff pulled him to his feet.
Triple H: Excuse me for a moment...I have business to attend to.
Triple H ripped off his headset and climbed onto the apron. Shawn Michaels appeared at the top of the ramp and approached the ring from the other side. Syxx and Jeff were standing between both members of DX. Hunter locked eyes with Syxx and Jeff was soon face to face with Shawn Michaels. It seemed as though things were about to erupt, but Syxx broke into a smirk, and spat in Hunter's direction before exiting the ring and jumping the guardrail. Hunter stared a hole through Syxx as he left through the crowd, but his attention soon turned back to Jeff. He and Shawn charged the ring and attacked Hardy. Jeff fought back tenaciously, but he was overcome. Suddenly "Almost Over" hit and Wes Ikeda appeared. Dressed in jeans and a Metallica shirt, he ran down the ramp and slid into the ring. He grabbed HBK by the arm, but not aggressively. The two stared at one another and Wes said a few words that the camera's mic didn't pick up. Triple H turned his attention to Wes now, and Wes stepped in between DX and Hardy, standing over Jeff protectively. DX paused for a moment, then started to back away. Once they had left the ring, Wes turned and helped Jeff to his feet. Jeff looked mildly confused about why Wes had come to his rescue, but he turned to watch DX walking through the curtain as the show went off the air.
Winner: Jeff Hardy
Reason: No Syxx Roleplay.
