The opening match of the night was Davey Richards v Brian Kendrick. The former WWE Tag team champ was over with the crowd and they cheered him furiously as he made his way to the EBWF ring for the first time. Kendrick did a backflip off the top rope and waited for his opponent, Davey Richards. The relative unknown got little reaction as he stepped out onto the stage, but it didn't bother him. He made his way to the ring and stood opposite Kendrick as the bell rang. Davey Richards, who was also making his debut, seemed to be looking to make a point. He was looking to prove that he was going to be a top star in the promotion, and he gave Kendrick everything he had in him. Brian Kendrick tried everything he could to counteract the newcomer, but kept coming up short. Kendrick hit Richards with a dropsault, but was distracted by a returning Angel Williams. Williams hopped over the barricade and onto the apron. Kendrick stared at the woman for a moment, and that was all that was needed. Richards got back up, spun London around, and hit him with the DR Drvier! Cover! 1...2...3! Davey Richards was succesful in his first EBWF match, and he and Angel Williams left the ring together.
Winner: Davey Richards
Reason: No Kendrick Roleplay.
SEGMENT
Before the next match began, “All That Remains” by Fozzy hit and Chris Jericho made his way to the ring. The crowd cheered as the returning star posed on the ropes. He then got a microphone and began to speak.
Chris Jericho: Welcome to EBWF is Jericho! I’ve gotta say, it sure as hell feels good to be back... one match since many is not nearly enough when you live for wrestling like I do. There’s only so long you can sit on the sidelines before you’re dying to jump back in. Now I’m back, I’ve got big plans. I’ve got my sights set on two things – King of the Ring, and the World Title. I plan to be King Christopher, Champion of the World, sooner rather than later. But first, there’s a smaller issue I’ve got to deal with, and his name is Rob Van Dam. You see Rob, when you’ve been in the EBWF as long as I have you’re never really away. Even when you’re not around in the flesh, someone’s got your back. And it seems, junior, that you’ve been disrespecting me. You came out here just before Aftermath, talking about beating the man who’s done it all. I appreciate those sentiments, and you got the victory you craved. Congrats, really. But my sources tell me that’s only half the story. Rumour has it you’ve not been nearly as respectful to yours truly behind the scenes. Respect is very important to be Roberto, and if I haven’t earned it from you then I guess I’ll just have to beat it out of you. So this Thursday, I propose a pay-per-view rematch. Let’s see if you can pin me twice... let’s see if, after our second EBWF encounter, you are ever, eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeever, the same again!
As his music hit again, Jericho dropped his microphone and headed backstage.
Match #2
Kane v Morrison was cancelled.
Reason: No RPs.
Match #3
"Alive and Amplified" hit and The Miz stepped through the curtain, making his way to the ring. Lacey made her way out there, with the No Limits title draped across her shoulder. She had Rain with her, but Rain didn't get involved. The bell rang and the two began to fight in a No countouts, Falls Count Anywhere Steet Fight. The two put on a hell of a match, and as always Lacey proved herself against a male opponent. She went for the Lightning Spiral but Miz reversed. He went for a clothesline, but she ducked out of the way and hit him with a dropkick when he rebounded off the ropes. Lacey covered...kickout at 2. The match continued and the Miz regained control. Suddenly, Scott Steiner hopped over the barricade. The crowd were confused but excited as he slid into the ring and attacked Miz from behind. He hit Miz with a powerbomb, then left the ring as quickly as he'd arrived. Lacey yelled at Steiner but quickly turned her attention back to Miz. He groggily fought his way back up, and this time she was able to hit the Lightning Spiral. Cover! 1..2...3! Lacey retained the No Limits title. Jeff Jarrett had stepped out onto the stage to meet Steiner.
Jeff Jarrett: Miz! I'd like to introduce you to a friend of mine. And I don't think you need to ask what the Powerbomb was for.
Jeff and Scott stormed off the stage as the show went to commercials.
Winner: Lacey
Reason: No Miz RP - D's internet isn't working.
Match #4
Shelton Benjamin v Scott Hall ended in a double countout as both men brawled on the outside.
Winner: Nobody
Reason: No roleplays.
Match #5
"Cho Cho Chosen One" hit and Jeff Jarrett made his way out onto the stage. He was accompanied by Dusty Rhodes, as usual, but as Rhodes and Jarrett took a few steps down the ramp, The Steiner brothers appeared. Rick and Scott Steiner followed Jeff to the ring. The referee seemed dubious about the men at ring side, but he decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. "Time To Play The Game" hit next, and it was The World Champion's turn to step out onto the stage. The world title was draped proudly over his shoulder. Shawn Michaels stood at his side and the two men didn't seem intimidated by Jarrett's new recruits. Triple H and Shawn Michaels walked to the ring, and stopped by the barrier. Kevin Nash was sitting in the front row and Hunter leaned forward to engage in a hushed conversation with the big man. Nash nodded and slapped Hunter on the back, wishing him good luck. Hunter slid into the ring and handed the referee his world title. He stared down Jeff and the bell rang. Hunter swung the first punch, and it connected. Jarrett stumbled back for a moment but soon fired back with a punch of his own. Triple H and Jeff Jarrett fought fiercely over the world title while The Steiners looked threateningly at HBK, who was standing in front of Nash. He shot them a look back and mouthed "Go for it". Scott Steiner frowned and dived towards HBK. Shawn was ready for him but not for Rick. He couldn't fight off two at a time. Nash jumped the barrier and pounded on Rick Steiner. He hit him with a Jack-Knife powerbomb on the floor and the sound of the impact was unbelieveable. The referee left the ring to make sure Rick Steiner was okay, and he tried to get control of the situation. The referee tried to pull Nash away from the action and Nash shoved him into the ring steps, pushing him down. Triple H had taken Jarrett down with a clothesline and he took a moment to notice the commotion outside the ring. Steiner got the better of HBK and gazed at Hunter. Hunter didn't flinch and Steiner slid into the ring. Hunter did the crotch chop, and Scott flew at him. Hunter ducked aside and Steiner went flying into Jarrett just as Double J was getting to his feet. Steiner looked even more furious after the mishap, but Hunter clotheslined him over the ropes before he could do anything else. Hunter yelled at Shawn to get the ref back in the ring, and Shawn somehow managed it. During all the commotion, Wes Ikeda ran out onto the stage. He made his way down the ramp, past the brawling that was going on outside the ring, and started to have words with the time keeper. Hunter didn't notice. He was too busy pulling Jarrett back up. He hit the Pedigree and covered him. The dazed referee managed to count the three. It was as he got to his feet that Hunter noticed Wes snatching the world title from the timekeeper and making his way back up the ramp with it. Wes also had a microphone and he was about to say something when Triple H climbed out of the ring and ran at him. Wes instinctively dropped the world title to defend himself as Hunter threw a punch at him. The punch connected and Wes's head spun back for a moment before he caught Hunter with a shot too. The two brawled for a moment before Steiner got involved again. Steiner pulled Hunter back and Hunter exchanged punches with Steiner instead. Wes picked up the world title and the mic and backed up the ramp angrily.
Wes Ikeda: Hunter, you know what?! Screw you. I was about to say that you could join your good buddy Kevin Nash on suspension, but I'm not gonna do that any more.
Triple H gazed up the ramp at Wes with a curious smirk and he mouthed "Then what?"
Wes Ikeda: I changed my mind. You're going on two week suspension, but you won't be joining Nash. His suspension is lifted.
The fans cheered and Wes shook his head with a cocky grin.
Wes Ikeda; Yeah, you're not suspended any more Kev...but I have some other news for you.
He paused for a moment, pacing up and down with the world title.
Wes Ikeda: You're fired! And Hunter...while you're away on suspension, I think I'll keep this.
Wes held up the belt. Triple H was furious and he seemed like he was about to chase Wes Ikeda up the ramp when security appeared. Security forcefully removed Triple H and Kevin Nash from the building as the show came to an end.
Winner: Triple H
Reason: Jarrett's roleplay was late. The rest is storyline.
