"Turn Up The Trouble" hit and Mr. Kennedy stepped through the curtain. The fans gave the newcomer a nice reaction as he made his way to the ring. He stood in the center of the ring and held up his hand and waited for the custom microphone to descend from the ceiling. It did, and he caught it with ease. Mr. Kennedy: Ladies and gentlemen, introducing the best thing the EBWF Has ever seen... I hail from Green Bay, Wisconsin...I weigh in at two hundred and forty three pounds. I am Misssssteeeeeerrrr Kenneeddddyyyyy! .......Kennedyyyyy! There was a mixed reaction as Kennedy let go of the mic and it was pulled back up into the ceiling. "Metalingus" played and Edge stepped out from behind the curtain. He was met with a similar reaction. The fans were excited to see the two new faces, but at the same time, the men weren't exactly going out of their way to endear themselves to the crowd. Edge made his way to the ring, removed his trench coat and locked eyes with Kennedy. The bell rang.
For the most of the match, each man tried to gain the dominance over the other, with neither really acheiving thier goal. Kennedy delivered a strong right hand to hand, dazing him a bit, but not knocking him down. Kennedy ran against the ropes and hit Edge with a clothesline, making sure to knock him down this time. Kennedy pounced on Edge, delivering multiple blows to the head until the referee had to interject and pull Kennedy off. He succeeded, but Kennedy was reluctentl, and pulled Edge to his feet. Kennedy whipped Edge into the ropes and met him with a knee to the stomach, causing Edge to fall to the ground, yelling in pain. Kennedy went for the quick cover 1....2. Edge kicked out just after 2. Kennedy seemed frustrated and went for the cover again, this time hooking the leg. Edge kicked out before the ref could even get to 1. Kennedy backed off of Edge and went to argue with the ref, telling him to count faster. This allowed Edge to get to his feet. Kennedy noticed Edge behind him and went to hit him, but was met with a kick to the stomach. Kennedy doubled over from the shot and Edge took the opportunity to hit Kennedy with a thunderous DDT. Edge went for a cover of his own. 1...2... Kennedy kicked out before 3. Edge looked frustrated, but knew he had Kennedy right where he wanted him. Edge backed away, waiting for Kennedy to rise, obviously looking to hit a spear. Edge crouched in the corner, begging Kennedy to get to his feet. When he finally did, Edge charged but Kennedy side stepped and sent Edge crashing into the ring post. Edge yelled out once again in pain and clutched his shoulder. He pushed off of the post and turns around but was met with a kick to the sturnum from Kennedy. Kennedy grabbed Edge and hit the Mic Check! Kennedy went for the cover, hooked the leg and got the 1...2...3!
Winner: Kennedy Shawn Michaels: Come in. The Miz walked into the room. He stood over Shawn, and Shawn looked up at him for a moment before climbing to his feet. Shawn Michaels: You must be lost...Can I help you with something? The Miz: No, but I can help you. You're facing five guys tonight...and I'm sure you were never good at math, but 5 on 2 is a lot better odds than 5 on 1. I still have heat with Jarrett. Shawn Michaels: So you uh...wanna help me win? The Miz: That's right. Shawn chuckled, and held up his hands. Shawn Michaels: Wow...smart kid. You should have figured out that if I needed any help, I'd have it in an instant. You don't think Nash or Triple H would be out there helping me swat those annoying bugs? They would be. But they won't be. Wanna know why? The Miz: Enlighten me. Shawn Michaels: Because I want to do it alone, so there are no excuses, and so that I never have to hear those idiots bitch, and moan, and challenge me to a rematch ever again...that make sense? The Miz: When you say it like that ...it makes perfect sense. I guess my meeting with Jarrett will have to wait. Shawn Michaels: Yep. I guess it will. The Miz smirked slightly. The Miz: Good luck out there. It's 5 on 1...ya might need it. Shawn Michaels: You have an IC title match tonight, kid...keep your luck for yourself. Shawn grinned and winked. The Miz shrugged with a small snicker as he left the room, closing the door behind him.
Winner: Cena Winner: Konnan Winner: Chris Jericho Winner: Shawn Michaels Paul Bearer: You see...even the Undertaker is no match for the dark power I hold in the palm of my hand. This man right here...this is Kane...my monster, my demon, and he will destroy all those who step in my path... Paul continued to speak and Undertaker slid back into the ring from behind him. The crowd cheered and Paul Bearer continued to ramble. Kane turned, and saw Taker. The two locked eyes. Paul Bearer turned, and saw the Undertaker too. Paul Bearer: He wants more? Vanquish him, Kane. Rid us of this nuisance. Kane stepped forward and The Undertaker readied himself, but Kane turned again and grabbed Peal Bearer by the throat. The Undertaker stepped towards and grabbed him too. The pair hoisted Bearer into the air. BAM! Double choke slam! The crowd applauded as Kane and The Undertaker left the ring together. Winner: Kane Winner: RVD Matt Hardy: Good luck out there.
Shane looked suspicious, but he answered politely. Shane Helms: Thanks. Matt nodded, and kept walking. Helms soon continued his journey towards the ring, and a quick message from the sponsors played.
Winner: Miz
Jerry "The King" Lawler: I totally agree that was one hell of a match, but up next is one of matches I have been looking forward to all night, two EBWF's most lovely ladies are going be action for the women's title and you know what means don't you Joey?
Joey Styles looks a bit annoyed as he knows what Jerry was talking about but decides to ignore him. Joey Styles: Yes we are be seeing two of the top of ladies here competing in a great match.
Jerry "The King Lawler: Yeah but we are also going to see....
Jerry is cut off as "Angel on my Shoulder" starts playing through the arena.
Jerry "The King Lawler: Hey that doesn't sound like either one of ladies' music. What going is on?
Joey Styles: I don't know either. Joey looks and suddenly sees something Joey Styles: Hey who's that on the tron?
The camera cuts away to the tron, where the camera is panning up a pair of black high heels, to a pair of fishnet stockings, to a short black skirt, up to a black shirt with the word "Diva" in white lettering to a woman with blond hair and black highlights standing against a white wall. Talia Madison: Before those two ugly hags... Loud boos are heard from the audience but Talia continues without a pause. Talia Madison: ...come out and attempt to entertain this fat Hershey crowd. Even louder boos are heard. Talia Madison: Oh you know its true, if you people actually put down the chocolate bars once in a while some of you might be able to see your toes, [she laughs the crowd continues to boo] Anyway I decided to inject some beauty in to this pay-per-view by introducing myself. My name is Talia Madison and I am newest and obviously [as she runs her hands down her body] the hottest lady to ever come to EBWF.
Joey Styles: A bit full of herself isn't she?
Jerry "The King Lawler": Hey as the saying goes, don't hate her because she's beautiful.
Talia Madison: You see I have been watching for a while and all the ladies seem to have two things in common, they are are hideously ugly and fat. I mean seriously, does the management go looking through the local freak-shows to find some of these girls? She laughs again as the crowd boos. Talia Madison: Oh and I sure you must have to reinforce the ring every time those fat cows have a match so the ring doesn't cave in. She laughs some more as crowd to boo her Talia Madison: You can boo me all you want, but you all secretly know I'm right and soon you will not have to worry about these heffers we have working here (More boos) because once a few of these disgusting hags (Even more boos) get The Extreme Makeover courtesy of yours truly, EBWF will be a much more beautiful place. But in the meantime remember everybody you look all you want [as she runs her hands down her body ] but you can never touch one of the Beautiful People. Holler. Talia blows a kiss and she walks off as the tron screen fades to black. Lawler has a big smile on his face as he speaks.
Jerry "The King" Lawler: Oh wow I can't wait for her debut. She is definitely put the hot in hotness.
Joey Styles: Are you kidding me, she is one most arrogant and self-centered woman I have ever heard, but believe we have match to get back too.
The camera goes back to the ring where the ring announcer is preparing to announce the next match. OOC: Thanks to Michael for this segment.
Jillian Hall: In order to celebrate my first succesful title defense...I'm going to grace you all with a song! The crowd booed as Jillian cleared her throat.
Joey Styles: She hasn't even won the match yet...talk about counting your chickens. Jerry Lawler: Quiet, Joey! She's gonna sing for us...you know she has the voice of an angel right? He seemed sarcastic, but Styles responded anyway. Joey Styles: Yeah, Lucifer maybe! He was an angel once. The crowd continued to boo as Jillian burst into song. Jillian Hall: Raaaaiiin Drops keeeep falling on my heeeeeeeeeead! Soon, Raaaaiiiin will be dead, cause I aaaammm the champppioon...I ammm... Jillian stopped singing as "Hollow" by Submersed hit and Rain stepped out onto the stage. Rain charged the ring with Lacey at her side. Lacey stayed ringside as Rain slid into the ring and clocked Jillian with a forearm. The bell rang and the referee removed the mic from the ring. The two ladies went at it and the crowd cheered for the action. Rain had taken Jillian by surprise so she had the early advantage. She got a 2 count early on, and Lacey cheered her on. Jillian fought back. She took Rain down with a monkey flip followed by an elbow drop. Cover..1....2...Rain kicked out. Jillian pulled Rain back up and she caught her with a right hand. Rain fired back with a right hand of her own followed by a kick to the midsection. Rain ran into the ropes and went for a sunset flip. She got it, flipping Jillian over into a pinning position. 1...2...Jillian kicked out. Rain went for another right hand but Jillian blocked, and took Rain down with an armbar takeover. She kept the arm bar locked in, and Rain was in pain for a few moments before she got her feet in the ropes and the ref broke the hold. Jillian stayed on the offense, and after a hard-fought match she managed to catch Rain off-guard with the Hall of Famer. 1...2...3! Jillian successfully retained the women's title. Winner: Jillian Hall
Jerry Lawler: What on earth...or should I say... who on earth is that? Joey Styles: I have no idea, King. The costumed figure was dressed in black and gold from head to toe, and he wore a full head mask like that of Ultimo Dragon. He slid into the ring and immediately attacked the world champion. Nash reacted quickly and defended his friend, but the strange Luchadore fought him off too. He kicked the big man down with a quick kick, then hit a flying elbow drop off the top rope. Triple H fought back to his feet and the figure kicked him in the stomach and hit him with a fancy swinging powerbomb. Nash got back up and the figure slid out of the ring. He grabbed a mic, and spoke in a strong Mexican accent. Figure: Me llamo Vuelta del Rey. The figure hopped back over the guard rail and disappeared into the crowd. Joey Styles: I think he was telling us his name...
Jerry Lawler: Vuelta Del Ray? Never heard of him. Triple H and Kevin Nash stood in the ring exchanging confused glances. Triple H shrugged and crotch chopped in the direction the figure had come from. He and Nash left the ring together leaving the crowd somewhat confused as the show went off the air.
Reason: No Edge Rp. D and I both did this match, but he did most of it :P
SEGMENT
Shawn Michaels was shown in his locker room, taping up his wrists. There was a knock on the door. Shawn answered without looking up.
Match #2
"My Time Is Now" hit and Cena started to make his way to the ring. He grinned as the crowd booed him, and he saluted the audience. Some cheered as he slid into the ring and removed his shirt, throwing it into the crowd. "I'm Coming" hits as the inflatable entrance tunnel fills the stage. The crowd begins their onslaught of boos before MVP can make his way out. He makes his way to the ring and stares at John Cena for a bit until "Riot" hits and Davy Richards makes his way out towards the ring. The fans have mixed reactions for the new comer whos been on a roll as of late. Richard pays the crowd to mind and slides into the ring, locking eyes with Cena, and then MVP. "Can You Dig It" hits and the crowd pops quite largely for the new comer whos reputation still makes him a large fan favorite. Booker T makes his way to the ring, playing to the crowd the whole time. He gets up on the ring posts and raises his hands above his head, which causes the crowd to pop even louder. But before he can get a chance to climb down, Richards attacks him from behind. Cena and MVP square off as well as the match officially starts. For most of the match Booker T and Richards focus mostly on each other. Cena and MVP each try to interject for the occasional 2-on-1 and to break up a pin, but the match is pretty much divided into 2 singles matches. Later in the match, Cena and MVP a fighting outside of the ring. MVP whips Cena into the outside barrier hard, and Cena yells in pain. MVP runs at Cena and hits him with a thunderous clothesline. The fans near by yell at MVP, but he just shrugs them off. He lifts Cena over up in the air and attempts to drop him face first into the barrier, but Cena wiggles free and pushed MVP into the ring post. MVP falls down with a thud, and appears to be unconsious. Meanwhile, inside the ring Booker T and Richards are battling it out. Richards kicks Booker in the stomach and tries to hit the DP driver, but Booker reverses it and drops Richards on his head. Richards slowly gets back up to his feet, but before he can he's kicked in the stomach and Booker hits the Scissor Kick, knocking him right back down to the mat, this time for good. Booker looks at the crowd and raises his hands. He does the Spinarooni, but when he gets back up to a knee, Cena comes from nowhere and kicks him in the head....hard. Booker is out cold, and Cena takes the opportunity to cover Richards and get the 1,2,3.
Reason: Best roleplay.
Match #3
"Aint No Stoppin Me Now" hits over the PA system as the crowd pops largely more for the large rivarly that has developed than for the superstar himself. Shelton makes his way to the ring trying to feed off the energy the crowd provides. He slided into the ring and climbs the top ropes, playing to the crowd some more. BUt his hyped actions soon fizzle as "Blow Money" hits and Konnan makes his way out onto the stage. The crowd continues their pop in suspense of the match. Konan uses his size for most of the match, meeting's Shelton's quick moves with his strength. Konnan whips Shelton into the ropes and attempts a back body drop, but shelton jumps around him and kicks Konnan in the back of the knee. Shelton grabs him and attempts the T-Bone, but Konnan over powers him and drops Shelton directly on his head. Shelton falls limp and Konnan takes his opportunity and locks on the Teuilla Sunrise, forcing Shelton to tap out.
Reason: No Shelton RP.
Match #4
Harcore Holly made his way down to the ring to his theme music, with a very no-nonsense kind of look on his face. He entered the ring, not bothering to pose for the fans or anything of the sort; instead, he chose to simply watch the entrance ramp and stay focused on his opponent. After a moment, the Y2J countdown appeared on the tron, and as it hit zero, exploded into "All That Remains" by Fozzy. The very same lead singer of Fozzy, Chris Jericho, walked through the curtain to a rousing ovation. He entered the ring in his normal fashion, and once the music stopped, stretched himself on the ropes and looked at his opponent. The camera didn't pick up the sound, but the audience could see Jericho say "I did it once, I'll do it again." Holly shook his head, saying "Not this time, punk!" Referee Chad Patton called for the bell, and the match got underway. The two men circled each other for a moment, finally locking up. Holly's power gave him the early advantage, as he worked over Jericho's upper body, arms, clubbing blows across the back, finally putting him into an abdominal stretch. The pain was evident on Jericho's face, and the referee asked if he wanted to call the match. Jericho gave an emphatic "NO!", and Holly, frustrated with Jericho's resillience, threw him to the mat and stood up. Holly took a few steps around, and Jericho siezed the opportunity to roll out of the ring and gather himself. As Holly walked over to the ropes, the referee admonished him but Jericho grabbed his feet anyway, pulling him down to the mat and bringing the match to the outside. The men brawled on the outside for a bit, with Jericho favoring his midsection but still using his quickness advantage. Jericho had Holly laid out on the announce table, and stood up on the ring apron. He climbed the turnbuckles, and lept to drop an elbow on Holly -- but Holly slipped off at the last moment and Jericho sent himself crashing through the table! Holly noticed that Chad Patton was up to an 8 count, so he jumped up on the ring apron and, for seemingly no reason other than to be a beligerant bastard, gave Patton a forearm to the face. The referee went down like a sack of potatoes, and the crowd booed Holly. Holly went back down and picked up the lifeless body of Jericho, dragging him back in the ring. He picked the man up by the legs, setting up for the Alabama Slam, when Jericho suddenly wriggled free and reversed the hold -- he grabbed Holly's legs, took him down, and quickly turned him over into the Walls of Jericho. As Holly fought, Patton began to stir and come back to life. Bob Holly finally had to give in, however, and tap out. The referee gathered enough of his senses to realize what was happening, and call for the bell -- Jericho was declared the winner, and he walked off with one arm up, and the other still selling his sore abdomen. He celebrated back at the top of the ramp, much to the delight of the fans who sent up a "Y2J! Y2J!" chant as he disappeared behind the curtain.
Reason: No Hardcore Holly Roleplay.
Match #5
"Sexy Boy" hit and Shawn Michaels began to make his way to the ring. He did his usual entrance and slid into the ring. Fireworks went off behind him as he did his "Heartbreak Kid" pose. The crowd gave him a mixed reaction as he danced while shimmying out of his chaps. He threw them out of the ring, leaving himself in a pair of black wrestling pants with a white and red broken heart design down the side. He stared up the ramp and waited. "Sic" by Slipknot began to play and Nick Mondo stepped out onto the stage. He ran to the ring and slid through the ropes. Shawn acted quickly, catching him with the Sweet Chin Music as he got to his feet. The bell rang. Cover by HBK. 1..2...3. Mondo was eliminated. Shawn had defeated him quickly, and awaited the arrival of the next opponent. "American Dream" hit and Shawn grinned as Dusty Rhodes made his way to the ring. Rhodes ducked the Superkick attempt and proved a little harder to defeat. He knocked Shawn down with a clothesline before dropping an elbow into HBK's heart. Cover. 1...2...Shawn kicked out just as the referee got to 2. He fought back to his feet and the two men continued to go at it. Shawn knocked Rhodes down with a flying forearm then nipped up. He hopped onto the top rope and hit the Elbow Drop! He went right into a cover. 1..2...3! Rhodes was eliminated. That left Scott Steiner, Samoa Joe, and Jeff Jarrett. "I Stand Alone" by Godsmach began to play. Joe was next. It took Shawn longer to defeat Joe, as he was a little more tired than he had been during the first two matches, and Joe was fresh. However he defeated Joe after a second Sweet Chin Music. Next...Steiner. Shawn grinned as Big Poppa Pump stepped onto the stage and crotch chopped as he made his way to the ring. Steiner looked angry as he slid through the ropes and went right after HBK with right hands. Steiner locked Shawn in the Steiner Recliner, and Shawn cried out in pain. He managed to make his way to the ropes, and the referee told Steiner to break the hold. Shawn was still in pain after the hold, but he fought through it. He ran at Steiner with a clothesline attempt and got caught with a suplex. 1...2...kickout by HBK. Shawn was soon back on his feet. He kicked Steiner in the ribs before going for a DDT. Connected. 1..2...Steiner kicked out. HBK slapped the mat in frustration as he got to his feet. He fought on, and caught Steiner by surprise with the Sweet Chin Music. Cover! 1...2...3! Shawn only had one man left to beat, and that man was Jeff Jarrett. Shawn got up and "Cho Cho Chosen One" began to play. As Shawn was waiting for Jarrett to make his way to the ring Big Poppa Pump caught him from behind with a steel chair to the back. The crowd booed as Shawn went down. Steiner hit Shawn with the chair once more before picking him up and hitting him with a powerbomb. Jarrett was strolling down the ramp with a smile on his face. The referee warned Steiner that he'd DQ the team, and Steiner eventually left the ring. But HBK was definitely worse for wear. Jarrett slid into the ring and pounded on a semi-unconscious HBK with right hands. Jarrett was obviously furious over the comments Shawn had made about his wife, and he made sure to punish the Heartbreak Kid. Jarrett went for a cover..1...2...Shawn kicked out. Jarrett dragged him back up and slapped him in the face. That woke Shawn up. He fired back with a slap of his own followed by a kick to the midsection and a teardrop suplex. 1...2...kickout. Shawn stood up, taking deep breaths. He was obviously tired and weakened by this point, but he still looked focused. He stamped his foot, half-begging Jarrett to get up. Jarrett did, and HBK went for the Sweet Chin Music. Jarrett saw it coming, and ducked out of the way. Shawn turned around only to be caught with a flying forearm. Jarrett dragged HBK up and hit the Stroke! He covered the Heartbreak Kid and the match seemed to be over. 1...2...kickout! Jarrett couldn't believe it. He kicked HBK in the legs and went right to the Figure 4 Leg Lock. Shawn screamed in agony and slapped the mat in frustration, but he didn't tap. Shawn reached for the ropes and couldn't quite get to them. Jarrett wrenched in the move harder. The ref asked HBK if he wanted to quit. HBK shook his head. He reached a little further, and somehow managed to get to the ropes. The referee asked Jarrett to break the hold and Jarrett complied, but kicked HBK in the knee as soon as he was up. Shawn winced, but got to his feet. Jarrett charged at him and HBK dropped, low bridging him. Jarrett went tumbling out of the ring and onto the floor. This gave Shawn a chance to regain his energy. The ref started to count Jarrett out...and got to 5. Jeff got back in the ring but Shawn was up. He waited for Jarrett to charged at him with a clothesline, and ducked under it. When Jarrett turned around he was met with the Sweet Chin Music! Cover...1...2..3! Shawn did it. The ref handed Shawn the tag titles and Shawn made his way up the ramp with them. Triple H met him on the stage and Shawn handed him a belt. Hunter hugged Shawn, congratulating him for the effort he had made. The two men held up the belts before heading backstage.
Reason: I did not judge this match myself. I asked members of the EBWF and some roleplayers from other feds to judge, and counted votes. I know it seems like some of those were squashes, but I didn't want the match to go on forever so I had to get a few falls over with quickly. :)
Match #6
The following match was an inferno match. Eery music of Kane began to play as Kane made his way to the ring, accompanied by Paul Bearer. Bearer was wearing a sickening grin as he accompanied his pet monster to the ring. Bearer held up an earn, stroking it evilly... the symbolism was that he held the Undertaker in the palm of his hand. A bell chimed and the fans erupted. The build up was slow and intense. The arena was pitch black, apart from the titan tron which showed flashing images of the night sky, a graveyard, and other dark imagery. The errie music merged into AC/DC's "Hell's Bells" and the crowd got even louder. The Undertaker slowly stepped out onto the stage and started to make his way to the ring. He and Kane didn't take their eyes off each other. Taker removed his hat and trench coat, carefully placing them to a technician on the outside. When Paul Bearer left the ring, the flames were ignited. Neither Undertaker or Kane looked fazed by them. The bell rang and the two locked up. Taker got the advantage, and attempted to push Kane into the corner quickly. He elbowed Kane in the face and Kane fell against the turnbuckle, dangerously close to the flames. The fire flicked at his boots, but they didn't ignite. He used all the strength he could gather to push the Undertaker back to the center of the ring and send him reeling with a series of uppercuts. Kane went for a sidewalk slam, and connected. The crowd were impressed. Kane started to roll Taker towards the ropes, but Taker punched upwards, catching Kane in the jaw. He got back up and kicked Kane in the mid-section before following up with a DDT. There was no use in going for a cover. He waited for Kane to get back up, then hit him with a Big Boot. Undertaker dragged Kane to his feet by the hair, and tried to pull him towards the fire. Kane fought back, elbowing Taker in the ribs. Taker let go and Kane took the opportunity to whip him into the ropes, connecting with a big boot of his own as Taker rebounded. Paul Bearer cheered Kane on. Kane patiently waited for the Undertaker to get to his feet. The match continued, and both men furiously beat the living hell out of each other. The crowd oooooohed and ahhhhed as they got dangerously close to the flames. Kane caught Taker by the neck, and hoisted him in the air. The fans held their breath in anticipation, but the Undertaker kicked Kane in the legs, getting himself free. He pushed Kane back into the ropes and the flames licked Kane's legs again. Kane got out of there quickly. He shoved Undertaker back, and caught him by the throat again. This time he hit the chokeslam, turning as he took Taker up into the air so Taker landed in the flames. Soon, the Undertaker's legs and mid-section were on fire. He struggled out of them and onto the outside, and technicians used fire extinguisers to put the fire out. Paul Bearer climbed into the ring, and raised Kane's hand.
Reason: No Taker roleplay but they mentioned a while ago that this was how they wanted the match to go down.
Match #7
Pantera's "Walk" hits over the PA system, and RVD jumps out from behind the stage, doing his usual pre-match jumping around. The crowd gives a decent pop, but it seems to be more for the song than the man on stage. When "London Calling" hits, though, the crowd gives boos and make it obvious as to where they're directed. The X Division champ seems unfased by the boos, seeming contempt with his new found "bad guy" persona. The bulk of the match is exactly whats to be expected in a match between these 2 competitors. High flying leaps and quick reversals keep the whole bout fast paced and exciting while not giving either competitor a true advantage. Later on, Van Dam hits a missle drop kick on London, knocking him to the ground. But as RVD goes to pick up his oponent, London shoves him with all his might into the corner, trapping the referee behind him in the process. RVD turns to check on the ref, but he falls to the ground, obviously knocked out. When Van Dam turns his attention back to London, he's met with a thunderous kick to the head, knocking him out next to the ref. London steps back and surveys the fallen ref, then jumps to the outside and grabs his X Division belt. He posts on the opposite side of the ring from RVD, waiting for him to get up. When he does, he charges Van Dam with the belt. RVD ducks under the belt and when London turns around he hits him with the Van Daminator: belt to face. London falls immediately to the ground, and RVD covers him.... but the ref is still out. Van Dam goes over to the ref to try to revive him. When the ref finally starts the stir, Van Dam climbs the top ropes and leaps off with a 5 Star Frog Splash. Van Dam goes for the quick cover and gets a slow 1.....2.....3 for the win. RVD rolls off of London in pain, clutching his abdomen. But when the ref hands him the X DIvision belt, he makes it to his feet and and celebrates with his newly won title.
Reason: No London roleplay. Thanks to D for this match.
SEGMENT
Before his match, Shane Helms was seen walking down the corridor with Trish Stratus and Sting at his side. The threesome began to slow, and it was soon obvious why. Walking in the other direction was Matt Hardy. Matt continued to walk casually down the corridor, and Helms seemed unsure what to make of him. Matt nodded, and gave Helms a small smile.
Match #8
"Alive and Amplified" hit and the Miz made his way to the ring. He got a pretty nice reaction from the crowd as he slid through the ropes and hopped onto the turnbuckle, doing his signature taunt. He walked into the center of the ring and waitd for the arrival of his opponents. "Miseria Cantare" hit first and the crowd gave a mixed reaction as a rejuvenated CM Punk stepped through the curtain. They chanted along with the "one of us" lyrics in his music and he held up the Straight Edge X as he slid into the ring. He and Miz locked eyes and talked a little trash while they waited for the arrival of the IC Champion. "Numb/Encore" hit and Shane Helms stepped through the ropes with Trish Stratus and Sting at his side. He had the Intercontinental Title placed on his shoulder and the fans gave him a mixed reactio as he slid into the ring. He handed the referee the belt, and the referee quickly warned Sting and Trish about getting involved. Shane stared into the eyes of his opponents, and as soon as the bell rang it was a free for all. All three men jumped on one another with none of them having the clear advantage for the first few moments. Miz concentrated on Helms, and CM Punk took exception. He dragged the Miz back and slapped him in the face. Miz launched himself at Punk, and kicked him in the gut before throwing him over the top rope. He quickly hit a Mizard of Oz on Helms and went for the cover. 1..2..Punk appeared and broke up the count. Miz stood up and Punk caught him with a dropkick. He covered Helms. 1...2..Miz pulled CM Punk off Helms, breaking the count. The two contenders exchanged punches until Helms got back up, He got involved in the action and took down Punk with a flying cross body. He stayed on top of Punk for the cover but Miz dragged him off before the referee even got to count. Helms took exception and caught Miz with a knee to the ribs. Miz doubled over and Helms hooked both his arms before lifting him up and powerbombing him into the mat. He covered...1...2...Miz kicked out, rolling backwards and back onto his feet. He then dropkicked Helms in the face. Miz got back up and CM Punk was right back into the action, catching Miz with a running clothesline. He picked Miz back up and Helms started to get up too. Miz punched Punk in the stomach, fighting him off and he and Helms teamed up for a moment to hit Punk with a double suplex. The alliance didn't last long. Helms caught Miz with a spinning heel kick. Cover by Helms. 1...2...Miz kicked out. Miz got back up and tackled Helms through the ropes. They fought on the outside and Miz threw Helms over the barrier. He quickly slid back into the ring and locked up with Punk. The two battled it out and Miz got the advantage! He caught Punk with the Reality Check. Cover by the Miz...1...2....3! Miz was the new IC Champion. Helms slid back into the ring but it was too late. The referee handed Miz the belt and he celebrated with it before making his way up the ramp.
Reason: Great effort from both Punk and Miz. You were both awesome. I just thought Miz had a little more thought to his, and it seemed more in depth.
SEGMENT
Joey Styles: What an incredible match we just saw. Those three participants certainly gave it all they had.
Match #9
"Radar" by Britney Spears hit and Jillian started to make her way to the ring. She was accompanied by Rico and carried her women's title proudly. She wore a big grin as she slid into the ring and asked for a mic.
Reason: Better roleplay. The Snow part was fun. Nice work Tez.
Match #10
The main event was set to begin. Out of the silence, S.C.O.M by Fort Minor began to play and Kevin Nash stepped through the curtain. The fans gave him a great reaction as he made his way to the ring. Nash slid through the ropes, looking focused. He held up the horns gesture that he had used in WCW, and the fans cheered. He had a few words with the referee before the arena went dark again, and green lights began to flash. "Time To Play The Game" echoed over the PA System and there was a loud but mixed reaction as Triple H stepped out onto the stage, with the World title firmly around his waist. Triple H poured some water over his head, and continued his journey to the ring. He hopped onto the apron, and spit the water out into the audience before throwing away the empty bottle. He climbed into the ring, and looked into the Big Man's eyes. There was a lot of respect between the two men, and Nash nodded, mouthing something. Hunter stepped forward, removed his world title, and handed it to the referee. Then he held out his hand for Nash to shake it. Nash did. and Hunter pulled Nash into a kick to the mid-section. The crowd booed and Hunter brought a forearm down across Nash's back as the referee hurriedly rang the bell. Nash powered back upwards, and threw Triple H back into the ropes. Hunter leaned against them and Nash loudly yelled "What the hell are you doing?" before punching Hunter in the face. Hunter replied with a right hand and when Nash looked up at him he answered the question. "Just my job. Don't hold back". Nash took that advice to heart and swung at Hunter. Hunter ducked but Nash caught him with a jab as he came back up. He lifted Hunter into the air and brought him down, back-first over his knee. Hunter winced slightly as Nash let him roll onto the mat. It was a little early for a cover so Nash pulled Triple H to his feet by the hair. Hunter elbowed Nash in the ribs and ran into the ropes. He rebounded back and caught Nash with a chopblock to the back of the knee. Nash went down and Triple H continued to target Nash's leg. He hit an elbow drop on Nash's knee, and applied pressure to the joint. Nash kicked out, with the force of his legs sending Triple H backwards. Nash slid outside the ring and walked on his leg to try and shake off the pain. Triple H slid out of the ring after him and charged, but Nash turned around and caught Triple H with a clothesline. Hunter went down into the concrete, and Nash picked him up, irish whipping him into the barrier. Nash kept up the momentum and dragged Triple H round the ring. He slammed his head into the commentary desk, and Triple H was obviously dizzy. Nash followed up with a kick to the midsection. He bent Triple H over and put him in position for the Jack-Knife powerbomb. The fans screamed with excitement as Nash lifted Triple H into the air and drove him through the announce table. Hunter's head and neck hit the table first, and he winced in pain, almost curling up into a ball as he held his head. Nash kicked the Champion in the ribs before rolling back into the ring to break the cout. The referee had got to 8, and Nash slid out before he could keep counting, knowing Triple H would retain if he was counted out. The referee restarted the count. Nash pulled Triple H to his feet and rolled him back into the ring. He covered. 1...2...Hunter just managed to kick out, but his head was still bothering him and his reactions were a little slow. Nash stood up and put his foot on Triple H's stomach, driving it downwards with all his weight, and forcing the air out of The Champion's lungs. Triple H grabbed Nash's leg and tried to push it off. That didn't work, so he used his own legs to sweep Nash's out from under him. Triple H was back up and Nash was down. He hit a knee drop on Nash's forehead. Cover by Triple H. Kickout on 2 by Nash. The match continued, and both men were seemingly on equal footing. The crowd were on the edge of their seats. Nobody could tell who would have the upper hand one minute to the next. The two old friends put on a great match. In the last few minutes, it was Nash in control. He threw Triple H into the ringpost shoulder first, and followed it up with an armdrag, wrenching Hunter's shoulder. He kicked the champion in the ribs before pulling him to his feet. The crowd applauded as Nash went for a second Jack-Knife. Hunter pulled his head out from between Nash's legs though, and kicked him in the mid-section. He quickly went for the Pedigree. Connected! He covered Nash..1...2...kickout!!! Triple H couldn't believe it. He kicked the ring ropes in frustration and waited for Nash to get to his feet. Nash got up. Triple H whipped him into the ropes and hit a spinebuster. Another cover, and Nash powered out again on two. Nash got up and grinned slightly. Hunter went to punch him but Nash reversed and knocked Hunter back with a punch of his own. Hunter went down and Nash quickly picked him up. Hunter was still fighting though and when Nash threw him into the ropes, he fired back with a facebuster. Triple H acted quickly. Pedigree! The second of the night! Hunter covered the big man, and the ref dropped to count. 1...2...3! It was over. Triple H had retained the world title. Triple H got up and caught his breath. The title was handed to him and he held it in the air. Hunter waited for Nash to get back up, and the two stared at each other for a moment. They looked each other in the eye with the silent understanding that they had put on a great match and neither man had anything to be ashamed of. They embraced like brothers and held each other's arms in the air. But before they could leave the ring a strange figure in a luchadore costume hopped the guiard rail.
