Superstar Biography:
Shawn Michaels has been wrestling for over 20 years. He is a former four time WWE Champion, and was the first Grand Slam Champion in the company's history. He was also the first WWE Wrestler to win back-to-back Royal Rumbles in 1995 and 1996. Michaels was forced to retire in 1998 due to a broken back. He met his wife Rebecca at the start 1999, and the two were married in March of that year. The two live together in San Antonio, Texas with their son Cameron and daughter Cheyenne. Michaels ran a wrestling school known as the Shawn Michaels Wrestling Academy from 2000-2001. He also ran a small promotion called the Texas Wrestling Alliance, using the trainees. Both closed for financial reasons, however the school reopened in November 2007. Michaels' runs the school with help from his close friends Triple H and Chyna. He was also employed as a staff member in the EBWF during this time. He began wrestling again at WWE Summerslam 2002 in what was originally thought to be a one-time-only performance. However, he has been active again ever since. HBK won the EBWF King of the Ring in 2006 and later that year he reformed D-Generation X with Triple H. Michaels added Chyna to the group in January 2007 at the Royal Rumble event. After capturing many championships in his EBWF career, including the Tag Titles with Triple H, Michaels won his first EBWF World Championship in November of 2007.
