Superstar Biography:
After leading WCW through some of their highest and lowest days, Sting brought his unique brand of mind games to the EBWF in December 2004. A few months after debuting, he recruited his longtime friend Ric Flair to join him and reform the legendary Four Horsemen, which would eventually include Flair's son, David, and Triple H. The group saw moderate success for the duration of 2005, including Sting's summer-long run as Intercontinental Champion. Internal strife tore the Horsemen apart, and in the spring of 2006, Sting went so far as to poison the younger Flair and leave him in a coma for the summer, further alienating him from the rest of the group. Though Sting and the Flair family later reconciled, he and Triple H have consistently been on opposite sides of the coin. While Sting hasn't always been on the top of the EBWF, he's the longest running active competitor in the company -- roughly three years. Though he was born and raised in California, and the heyday of the Four Horsemen is long gone, he still owns a home and resides in Charlotte, North Carolina. When not wrestling, Sting enjoys playing the guitar and recording music, much of which he's used in his in-ring appearances.
